Description

Gear Jack Strut Supports — What makes them cool.

Strut Supports are a fast, efficient way to secure many types of RC airplanes. They let you store and transport your planes with the landing gear in place (and with the wheel pants on, too!) but with the weight off the wheels. They're ideal for .30 - .50 size sport and pattern planes. They work well with almost any strut shape — straight, curved, or swept — and the extreme adjustability built-in to Gear Jacks lets you grip the strut securely without damage. Perhaps the best thing about Gear Jack Strut Supports is how quickly they can be adjusted to secure a different airplane.

Useful Features:

  • Four degrees of freedom make it easy to support different strut types, shapes, and sizes.
  • Padded Strut Support Plate adds 'cushion' and protects painted or polished struts.
  • Soft and grippy EPDM rubber straps hold the strut securely.
  • Fits perfectly on Gladiator® Gear Track — one set up can accommodate many different airplanes.
  • Reconfigure your Gear Jacks in just minutes when you need to secure a different airplane.

Kit (assembly required) Includes:

  • Standard 5" tall, powder-coated aluminum Stanchion Brackets.
  • Standard length 6" Lifting Tubes.
  • Strut Support Brackets with 2" x 3-1/2" x ¾" thick closed cell foam pad and EPDM rubber straps.
  • Rust and corrosion resistant hardware.

I have tried everything under the sun to secure my airframe's from movement. I had seen these jacks before and even talked to Ray at an event but did not listen. Well I finally decided to give them a try. They were very easy to put together and set up. These little beauties hold my airframes extremely secure. I am happy beyond words and can throw out a box full of bungies, ties, straps, etc. etc. Only down side is they make me want to gussie up the inside of the trailer. Yes, they are that good looking!

Finally found a good way to transport a 40% airframe! Using the track from Lowes and adjustable tie downs, I can easily change the position based on what size airframe Im hauling. Great product 👍🏻
